  17. ADDCOMM*   allows you to define the actual address of your communications ports
  18.            in the DOS lower memory segment allowing older machines to support
  19.            COM3 and COM4.
  20.  
  21. ALARMCLK*  provides a simple alarm clock for MS-DOS machines.
  22.  
  23. ALLSUB*    Allows any command or program to be run on the current directory as
  24.            well as all on subdirectories of the current directory. This is
  25.            useful for deleting groups of files or performing tasks with
  26.            programs that don't normally allow for subdirectories.

  28. AREA*      AREA is a utility that will help you locate the region to which an
  29.            area code applies or to locate the area code for a specific region.

  31. BANNER*    Create a large banner using a standard ASCII printer.

  33. BOOT       Reboot PC from within a batch file or from the DOS command line.

  43.            rate, parity, number of data bits, and number of stop bits on the

  53. CLEANFL    Makes the task of cleaning floppy drive heads much easier and more
  54.            thorough. Moves the head of the floppy drive to travel the entire
  55.            span of the cleaning floppy rather than just using a small portion
  56.            of the cleaning diskette.

  60. CLEANUP    Cleanup allows you to recover valuable space that is eaten up by
  61.            unused or duplicate files on your hard and floppy drives. Quickly
  62.            isolates unused and duplicate files and removes them.

  64. COUNT      Counts the number of characters, words and lines in a file.

  66. CURLOCK*   CURLOCK locks the cursor shape (optionally set with CURSOR) so
  67.            that no matter what software you use the cursor will not be changed.

  69. CURSOR*    Let's you change the size and shape of the DOS cursor.

  71. CUT*       Unix like utility for displaying and printing text files in
  72.            different formats by eliminating columns and other formatting

  77. DETAB*     Strips any tab characters from an ASCII text file and converts them
  78.            into spaces. This is especially useful when working with old
  79.            formatted files that you would like to work with in an editor which
  80.            treats fixed tabs differently.

  82. DISKINFO   Reads the boot sector of a disk and then makes a DOS call to find
  83.            out the information that DOS has for that disk. It will then list
  84.            out the information in a side by side format so that you may compare
  85.            the reports from DOS and the boot record.

  87. EDIT       SuperEdit full screen editor many features including multiple
  88.            windows, text formatting options and pull down menus.

  90. EVAL*      DOS command line calculator that evaluates mathematical expressions
  91.            input on the command line.

  93. FILEATTR   Allows you to set or change the attributes of a group of files.

  95. FILEINFO   Alleviates the problem that DOS has created by only allowing 8
  96.            characters to describe a file. FILEINFO provides a way of adding
  97.            comments to files in any directory.

  99. FILESIZE*  Displays a list of files and their respective sizes with summary
  100.            that gives total sizes, number of files, totals space on disk and
  101.            space available both in bytes and percentage.

  103. FILETREE*  Scans the directory structure of a disk and gives a top down tree
  104.            listing of the entire disk's directory structure.
  105.  
  106. FINDFILE*  Will locate files by searching the entire disk for a specified file.
  107.            Also searches within compressed files to searchfor filenames. When
  108.            it finds a matching file it will display the directory the file was
  109.            found in, the complete file name, the file size, creation date and
  110.            time, and any attributes associated with the file.

  112. HELP       HELP prints out help messages on some of the more useful and popular
  113.            DOS commands.

  115. HEXDUMP*  Provides you a quick dump of the contents of any file.  The advantage
  116.           of HEXDUMP is that you can quickly dump the contents of any file to
  117.           the screen without having to load the overhead of a shell program.

  121. HUSH*     A utility that can eliminate a majority of the sounds generated by
  122.           the PC's internal speaker.

  124. KILLDIR*  Makes eliminating a directory and all of it's contents a lot easier.
  125.           It displays information about the directory that includes the number
  126.           of files and their sizes as well as any subdirectory information.

  128. LASER     Helps you set your laser printer's mode and also makes it easy for
  129.           you to send control codes to it.

  131. LS*       Unix like file listing utility.  It has many advanced features beyond
  132.           that of the DIR command found in DOS.

  134. MOVE      Moves any file from one place to another.

  136. NAMEDIR*  Renames directories without emptying or modifying their it's contents.

  138. PATHFIND* Allows you to search the file path for any files.  Will display the
  139.           files that it finds in order of appearance within the path. This is
  140.           handy when you are trying to locate a similar program or file that
  141.           could exist in multiple places in your path statement.

  143. PSPRINT   Allows you to print DOS ASCII Text files on a PostScript device without
  144.           the usual conversion.

  146. SCRNATTR* Sets the foreground, background and border colors at the DOS prompt.

  148. SPEEDRAM* Increases the speed of your system CPU by changing the refresh rate
  149.           of your system's 8253 timer chip. SpeedRam should increase your CPU's
  150.           performance from 2% to 10%.

  152. TEXTSRCH* Searches for all occurrences of a given string inside of a specified
  153.           text file.

  155. TOUCH*     A unix like utility used to stamp a file's attributes with the
  156.            current system date and time.

  158. TURBOBAT*  Compiles batch files into .COM binary programs.  This will greatly
  159.            increase the speed of large batch files by allowing them to run in
  160.            machine code rather than interpreted DOS commands.

  162. USEMOUSE   Gives any DOS application the ability to use the mouse.

  164. VOLLABEL   Allows you to view and modify the volume label on any disk.
